aftermath

Very very painful. Bandages soak through my clothes. I sleep in chair because I can't get out of my bed. Extremely painful breathing-- trying to fight pneumonia. Was allergic to morphine-- now getting Tylenol 3 instead-- which is weak. I have stitches in several incisions which pull because of my heavy pannus-- and one open wound where drain was that drenches through my clothes several times a day. By far the most pain I've ever had. Tomorrow should be a better day.

Thanks for wishes.  Doc said the pre-op diet was great--- still had huge liver, but pliable---would have been open if I hadn't lost weight. I'll be around when I feel better----peace to you.

Shari:  Glad to hear you are ok.  Get some rest and feel better.

It's good to hear you're home and starting your recovery.  Thank goodness they could do it lap.  Hope the pain fades fast and your recovery is quick and uneventful.

Hoping you get plenty of rest and get back to your "normal" self real soon!  Keep us posted.  I am surprised that they sent you home so soon!

Shari..... My darling girlfriend.... I am glad you are home... sorry you are in pain... but praying for a speedy recovery.... rest, rest, rest,.......  Is anyone able to come and help SigOT with yor needs...  Hey what was your pre-surgery weight?

Shari -- Sorry you're in such pain but glad you at least had the strength for a quick post.  Wish they had given you something a little stronger than Tylenol 3.  I hope that you heal fast and the pain lessens with each day.  I'm sending good thoughts and well wishes your way and you'll definitely be on my mind.  Get lots of rest.

Shari -  rest well and take good care of yourself.  I am so glad to hear that you made it through ok.  In a few days you'll be able to enjoy your spot on the losers bench.... for now hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
