Who Joins? Weight Loss Challenge July first!

Hi there!
We are starting a new weight loss challenge for peeps who want to have one right NOW and not wait for the next one

OK so here is my challenge before July first:

Weigh less than 135 kilograms = 297 pounds (hey never realized that gets me out of the 300s. cool, double fun to get to that number then)

I started this challenge one week ago for myzelf witg the weight of 147 = 324 pounds

Monday I weighed in at 143,4 kilograns= 316 pounds

Doable right?

Plan:
*Weigh****chers to the letter. Great plan.
*Getting lots of info on food, my body, diets etc bij reading dr Oz and other books: Knowledge is power!
*getting into my head with a psychologist to see why I have this eating problem all my life
*exercising as often as I can but at least 3 times a week 30-60 minutes (walking, swimming or gym)
*drinking water

Well who joins me?
I do not know how to make this 'stick' or something. of course it will fade fropm this page in a few days.

Ok I am in.  My goal:  weigh less than 300 lbs by July first: My plan:  stick with the program prescribed by my dietician Log all my food in my food journal (very important tool for me.  Keeps me honest) Exercise at minimum 4 days per week for 1/2 hour per day. Good luck to everyone.

Hey, I was off the board for a few days but I'm back. I am currently hovering around 330.  So I am looking for a 30lb loss by July 1.

I like challenges and I WILL make the one I am in now...I have 20 pounds to go for the Memorial one.... woot.  ANyways this challenge. I have been really kicking it into gear because I HAVE to be atleast 170 by July. So Yea July 1st....I will be 170.  :) I am 220 as of 4/18/08. Yea 50 pounds....trust me it seems like a lot...but I know I am highly capable of pulling it off! :) Plan: Salad Salad SB Protein Bars Walking in the mornings, Walking in the evenings, Cardio TurboJam in the evenings...some ball exercising...and LOTS of water :)

Alright I feel at times I seem to shot high..but for July 1st I am going to go for 280! I am currently 302. My plan being... Watching portion sizes Stay away from pop Staying away from sweets I am walking 5 days a week...2 miles a day...weather permitting.. And on weekends..when I get the turbo jam dvds..i want to start doing turbo jam on weekends. And then of course..drinking H2O! Wish me luck..and goodluck to everyone else!!!

July 1st huh? Ok. I'm in. I have a pair of size 24 jeans in this house that NO ONE else will claim. By July 1st, they are MINE! I am size 28 now. So I figure another 25-30 pounds should do it comfortably.  Starting weight and size: 329# and sz 28 Goal: 299-304 and sz 24 Plan: Stationary bike daily minimum 3 miles with a goal of 10 miles daily Physical therapy exercises Daily walk weather permitting Watch and record daily food intake focusing on protein Large amounts of water daily...at least 64oz with a goal of 100 oz

WOW you guys! Very ambitious goals! Makes me wonder if I am too soft on myself. But I'll stick with my plan.

Let's just do it, we all CAN.

Does anyone know how we can keep each other posted, make it stick? Or do I just open up a: How is it going with the challenge thread?

Just open up a new post...and just put the title as july 1st  challenge.. We all can do this..we just have to stay active on the board and talk with everyone! Lean on one another!!

 I'm in. I weight 335.5 and I want to be below 300 by July 1 that is 36 lbs. I will continue to exercize 5 days a week. I will keep my food journal and I will walk at least 1 mile weather permitting on Saturday and Sunday. If I must stay inside becasue I weather I will fianlly open my exercise DVD and do my  workouts indoors. I wil also work on drinking at least 64oz of water and try to bump it up to 100 oz  and I will add walking at work on my breaks at least 3 times a week. If  I do all that I should have no problem reaching my goal! Thanks for the motivation! Tedi
