Nope just xray of the stomach area and cat scan tomorrow.
All my blood work came back great except the liver enzymes which could be due to the stress my body is in with the nausea and pain. I have never had a fever and have only vomitted once after travelling for the first time since surgery.

Topic: Update
So i sit here tonight trying to drink the solution to get my cat scan done tomorrow and i have to drink the same stuff in the morning. Lord give me strength! lol
On the plus side I saw Diana and the Team on Wednesday and today i saw Dr Ellsmere. They think what i have has nothing to do with the surgery. As some of you know i have constant nausea and pain, sometimes severe. Its not my gallbladder cause i had that removed about 10 years ago. But the surgeon thinks its a stone stuck in my bile duct. So its the same pain as gall bladder pain and it can cause nausea. Next Friday (or the one after) i will be going to have an ERCP done. Its where they stick the scope down your throat and he will be *cleaning* me out type thing to get ride of the stone or stones inside. I sure hope that does the trick and i can finally start living again! Ugh! But everyone thinks i am doing an amazing job on my weight loss so that put a smile on my face.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Topic: RE: Referrals
Hi all, I am new to this forum. I was refered to Dr. Ellesmere March 4 2010, when I was talking to Diana in July she told me I was over 2000 people ahead of me :( I can expect at least a two year wait before I get to see Dr. Ellesmere.
I too am researching out of province surgery. I was speaking to MSI today and they told me to research it. MSI will cover hospital costs and surgery in another province but have my doctor send in a request for preapproval first.
How long have some of you who have had the surgery with Dr. Ellesmere have to wait?

Angie,
You know how proud I am of your success and determination!! It is a warm reminder of my days and early months after surgery of discovering my new self.
You are a "model" patient and truly an inspiration for new patients but also for folks like me who have travelled the journey for quite some time. Life gets back on track and the honeymoon eventually slips away and we sometimes feel the excitement wanes. But your updates keep it real and fresh to help us all get to our goals and success!
How great it is to sit here and read how you are going through some of the most proud moments and I can recall knowing exactly how you feel! My journey has been a roller coaster, but for the most part, the best days of my life. Even when I've gained some, I still cling to the times I felt healthy and could move & breathe normally. This helps me to keep travelling forward and get back to where I belong. Thank you!
Your words are exactly what we all need to hear. For the newbies & people waiting, you give them HOPE! For the old-timers, you give us COURAGE!
~Always reach for the STARS MY FRIEND, as you are the "brightest" and your lights shines upon US ALL!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
