Kenny, Everyone is offering so much good advise but I would like to add one thing.... GET OUT AND RIDE..... Get out on the bike hun and take a ride, clear your head and get yourself ready to deal with another day. That is all we can do is one day at a time. I know this rain is not helping hun but even a trip to the gym will be good for you. Keep in mind how you WANT to look while riding that motorcycle, keep that in mind and let that help to motivate you.....~hugs~ Debra P

The bike has been greatand I spend more time on itand less timeat the gym. Part of the problem too. Yes I ride it to the gym as well. Thanks Kenny PS when r we going riding ??

Ken, you can't beat yourselef up.....Whats DONE IS DONE.... It takes time to break OLD HABITS....!!!!!! Try and take it ONE DAY AT A TIME....Some times it may be ONE MEAL AT A TIME....You are worth it... PS... I went on line you can buy carb soultions... at walmart, eckert, rite aid,gnc,bj's,sams,target to name a few..... I just put in carb soultions and a whole list of products comes up.. Give it a try... hey kenny, Im also having trouble with alot of emotional eating. I'm pre-op and trying to eat the right things so that i dont gain any weight. I would really like to lose some weight but i have a real problem with eating. It is discouraging. We have been eating to comfort ourselves for a long time and it is very hard to stop. I would suggest seeing a counselor to talk to. It can be helpful. I see a counselor once a week, but haven't had counseling for the past month because he had surgery and probably wont start counseling again till beginning of June. Anyways, it is a rough journey. I'm so glad you are posting and I hope things straighten out for you soon. debby

Ok Kenny....For starters, When you eat bad like that, GET OVER IT QUICKLY! If you dont you will just dwell on your depression and KEEP EATING. Trust me, I eat badly on days and wake up feeling like I have a hang over, but I have to just get over it and start a NEW DAY. Last week was a REALLY BAD WEEK FOR ME AS WELL! Next, if you love your bike, then be on when you feel like eating. Do not go to the fridge, go straight to your bike, bring a snack. I always have a snack bag of something, pretzels or crackers, all types of Nuts, and the Zone Protein Bars (PEANUTBUTTER), PLUS a bottle of water for in between, Never allow yourself to be hungry! Exercise will decrease your depression, I know you have heard it a thousand times, but it works and Im sure you know it. Get into a better routine and it will help you, not only mentally, but physically. Because if you are in GREAT SHAPE, when you do eat badly your body will not feel so bloated and for lack of a better word "CRAPPY". Keep us updated, Kimberly 238/158/140
