REMINDER! Fishkill Support Group

The Fishkill Support Group will be meeting Sunday at 6pm (till 7:30 pm) at Fishkill All Sport, off of Route 9 (845-896-5678 or www.fishkillallsport.com for directions). This group is being run by a wonderful professional counselor, my friend Lisa, who had WLS surgery in December and is running a 26 mile marathon next weekend! Lisa (http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/members/profile.php?N=M1125346733) is amazing and this group is everything I could have hoped for; I'm so glad she picked me to do it with her because it is definitely what we needed -- a group for the REAL emotional support that we need! Hi Vi, I actually had a babysitter(my dad)he was going to take the little one. But with the cost of gas, and the fact we were in Fishkill earlier in the day shopping for the mother in law, we decided not to go. Are you meeting Sunday? If so I can go, because hubby is going to sleep early so I can come. I really enjoyed it and need the support. Kristine

I totally understand about the gas! We missed you though! YES we will be there next Sunday, in fact I'm going to be running that one since Lisa will be in Hawaii doing her marathon!! Can't wait to see you then! And if you can stay for coffee afterwards, I would love that too! A few of us went to the diner yesterday after the meeting for a cup of coffee. Hi, I am sorry I have not made it to any of the meetings. I have be going back and forth to Cape Cod for over 2 months. My Aunt who raised me passed away last week. I am going to make it this Sun...... I really need a meeting... Not having food to run to now is not fun....Thank Goodness for people like you and Lisa to start up a new meeting.....
