This place sure has helped me get through this journey, each and every one of you! Down 122 lbs now, size 12 pants and a sm/med shirt!!!........13 more lbs to go to my surgeons goal and 38 to mine.....I might rest at a place in between those 2 sets of numbers but we will see....my Mom wants me to stop now.... But well that is just Mom... just wanted to say THANK YOU!!!! Debra P

Debra, You've done so well...and I think resting between the numbers is an awesome idea! My husband doesn't want me losing much more but I told him I need to. He doesn't want me too skinny he says. Oh I'm far from that My mother on the other hand is all for it because of the diabetes in the family. She was one of my biggest supporters of my surgery. Thanks for all your support Kristine

Debra, What an inspriation you are. You look fantastic! I loved your webpage and the fact that you share the tough times as well as the good. I started this process in Jan. 2005 and was actually scheduled to have RNY August 17th. I canceled my surgery after my husband had his Heart Transplant on August 1st. I was elated for my husband and crushed for myself at the same time. Quite frankly I did not think I would EVER be able to get it done. It is surprising how quickly transplant patients recover! You would never know he had such a major surgery 10 months ago. Sooooo.... I decided it was time to take care of me... Because of the timing of everything, I have to get pretty much all of my clearances done again. But it will be so worth it. I will do whatever it takes to get this weight off. Thanks again for sharing your journey! Lori
