Hi everyone! has anyone had RNY surgery done by either Dr. William O'Malley or Dr. William Graber. These are the two that my WM doctor suggested. I am in Canada and searching for an Out of Country doctor. Any info would be appreciated.

I used a doctor in Horseheads,NY His name is Dr. Robert Cole, his group has been made a Center of Excellence his partner is Dr. McCain. I highly recommend Dr. Cole. You can find him here in the Dr. search. I think you have to type in his name. Shannon Arnold

I have Dr Wm. Graber from Utica/New Hartford New York. His office help is great. I have several acquaintances at my work that have already had surgery by him. They love him. My surgery was postponed because of a sinus infection so I am now for 7/14/06, originally it was to be this Wednesday, 6/14/06. He is very careful about not doing surgery at the drop of a hat, or if you aren't completely well, ie. cardiac follow-up, blood work etc. or as myself, a cold, viral infection. Good luck on making your choice. You do need to do a lot of research and feel very comfortable with your surgeon and his staff. Good luck, God Bless.

I am a patient of O'Malley. He did my emergency hernia repair last Mother's Day weekend which is what started this journey and also did a lipoma removal from my L upper thigh last August. He is a great surgeon. Had surgery 1/3/06 and have lost 103. He is quiet and not the most personable. His office staff and nurse practitioner are great. I would highly recommend him. Email me if you have specific questions. Liza
