Feeling big as the weight is coming off

Ok, weird question here. Do you all have the same thing going on? Everytime I have losses going on, my belly seems to feel bigger and bloated, then during a stall it goes down and I feel thinner. Isn't that weird? Also, my upper body now seems much larger than my lower. It does to me anyway. I am in a large shirt with no sleeves, probably a XL jacket size I have broad shoulders, but my bottom is size 6 undies, size 12 ladies or misses almost into a 10 in another couple of weeks they will fit fine, and a 13 in the juniors ( its fun to go in that section) also easier to find a low to mid rise pant for my short waist, that doesn't feel like it is cutting me in half. I don't know where my rear end has gone, but it's gone. LOLOL I feel like the opposite of an hourglass shape, instead my breast line in, tummy out, butt line in. Not really so drastic but that is what I feel like, my tummy is just always bigger. Don't get me wrong, I am feeling awesome and love how I am looking and love shopping it's my new addiction can you tell? It's just weird how the body reacts and how everyone is so different in how and when and where they lose. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend! Happy 4th of July!!! Thanks Sue, I hope I don't scare anyone with those pics. I truly was not in much pain at all. I just wanted to show how bloated I was in the hospital. I must have gain 20 pounds of fluid. Where are you at in the process? I can tell you I am so happy that I had this done. My life has changed so much for the better. Thanks again, Shannon

hi shannon, trying to get thru the insurance gauntlet. right now i'm at a stand still till jan. when i can change my insurance. so for now just kinda lurking on the board and going to bariatric ctr and dr to keep me on track. you guys on here really do look GREAT! take care , sue

Hey Shannon, I'm having a somewhat different version of what you describe. As I lose weight, I have been borraged with comments at work and with friends about how "skinny" I look. The fact is, I have lost close to 65 pounds but have another 85+ to go. I am sure I look quite different, but skinny no! All I see is how much more I have to go! I guess it's just a great big learning curve for body and mind to adjust to the changes after WLS. It sounds like you're doing great though. After I post this, I'll check out your photo album. WOW and a double WOW, You are doing amazing!!! Just since May..........you will be at your goal in no time. I also get those same comments at work, but just feel my belly is still out there for the world to see. I know what you mean the body and mind coming together. I think you look great. I thank you for those pictures. I have been looking for pics like these. I am supposed to be scheduled for surgery in August. I have been researching this wls for 2 years and juat started the journey on February 14th of this year. I congratulate you on your success and the pics were very helpful.
