I SAW TAVIA

I went to visit Tavia in the hospital last night. Dennis was there, of course, and we had a nice visit. She's in some pain, but her spirits are up as usual. The nurse stopped me on my way and asked if the morphine shot he gave was helping. I said not really and he said that we would have someone from pain management go and see her. Hopefully they'll get her a morphine pump and she'll get some relief. I told that you were all asking about her and praying for her quick recovery. She says that Dr. G says that the surgery went perfectly. Now we have to keep praying that she recovers quickly and that this was the answer to all her problems. Let's keep the cards, prayers and love coming, because they really do help her spirits. Joanne

Thanks for the update Joanne!!! Its great that there are friends here on the list that can go see her in person and to be able to give her the support she so needs right now. Glad to hear that she is doing as well as possible. Lets hope that this is it for her and that she can get her life back on track soon. Send our love for her and her family. Thanks again, Shannon

Joanne, Hun thanks for the update and keep us posted. I also hope that this will be the end of her problems with this and now she can get back to her full life. Thats great Joanne, I wish i could get my butt out there but its so hard with the kids.....I tried to catch he awake tonight but she was all drugged up with her morphine so i spoke briefly with Dennis. I know she was very happy you came to see her. Hey when she recovers we will all have to get together and you can get a tattoo with us lol! LisaMarie

I spoke to Tavia this morning before she got the morphine pump. She sounded pretty good, but the pain was still pretty bad. Sounds like they've finally got the pain under control, but it turns a person into a zombie. I'd love for us to get together for dinner or a few drinks. I'll be your chaperone, but no tattoos for me. I'll take pictures . It's not something I ever felt inclined to do. Besides, my boyfriend would probably feak if I got one . I'll probably call her again tomorrow morning. I'll tell her that everyone here is asking and praying for her. Joanne
