Question about Dr. Singh's pre op diet

I am having my surgery on 7/2. At my preop today I totally forgot to ask about the pre op diet. Does anyone know what it is?

Jen  I am having surgery same day. I was told to have a light beakfast and lunch and tale milk of magnesia at 6pm to help with a movment. because it will really hurt to try and go after surgery. good luck with everything. This week just flew by. I hope the weekend does to. I am ready for my new life to begin. sheila

I was able to eat until midnight the night prior to surgery, but other docs want you on a 3 day pre-op liquid diet.  I'd call your doc's office in the morning..

Call the office each person mayhave individual instructions, I was liquids day preop but that was almost 5 yrs ago!
