Salad ala carte
I went to Golden Corral last night because I hadn't had dinner. It was too late to eat. So why did I go? I will tell you why. They have a deal where you can load up a take out box with a price per pound. I loaded up that to go box with a salad and fruit. WHOOHOOO! Lettuce, Tomato, onion, green pepper, califlower, broccoli, cheese, ham/turkey....and some cantelope/honeydew....all for the grand total of........
2.00!!
that's right....$2.00!
So, being as smart as I is.....I bought 2 of em. I even named them.....Lunch and Dinner.
Breakfast has become my most important meal....
2 eggs (scrambled)
4oz sausage (turkey)
sometimes a little applesauce (those little cup thingies)
SMOTHERED IN RANCH....ok...just kidding.
Lunch has become a normal as well....
salad and a meat exchange.
at dinner.....before 6....it is not as important as lunch and breakfast....dinners are usually small.....
small salad or mixed veggies....and meat exchange.
I have been drinking about 8 20oz a day of water.
UGH...I feel good...I really do....but all tha****er....YIKES! I think I may cut back to 6 cause between the water and lasix...I don't sleep at night
Anywho....Salad at Golden Corral! go load up! HEALTHY!!! YUM!!!
Anywho....Salad at Golden Corral! go load up! HEALTHY!!! YUM!!! Wow Tim what a deal!

And love the motivation to keep on keeping on!
I have had those little applesauce thingies, they have so many flavored ones now that have no sugar added (peach, pineapple, berry etc!)
Yes 8 x 20 oz= 160 oz or too many trips to potty!
There is such a thing as water intoxication http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_intoxication too to be concerned about!
Water intoxication (also known as hyperhydration or water poisoning) is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain function that results when the normal balance of electrolytes in the body is pushed outside of safe limits by water.[1]
Most recommend 64 oz day this 2.5x that...more is not always better! Check with the (dreaded) nutrionist perhaps for what is safe for you!
