Hello All, ~hugs~ OK another "candy" Holiday passed! What did you say NO to this Easter? For me it was the Cabury cream eggs AND the mini eggs, OMG last year I was searching all over to get the mini eggs as Easter came. After I went in search of all I could find because after Easter they are cheaper! This year I did not even try a ONE!!! I did have 2 Jolly Ranchers but well that is not bad as before I would have eaten the whole bag and THEN some. OK your turn now...... list your past haunts and say how it went this Easter? Good and Bad are ok. Take care Debra P

Hey Debra, Sorry it's been a while, I've been busy w/ work, home and kids....getting ready for vacation in a couple of weeks and just plain old life. Your topics are great.....I said no to everything chocolate, and I mean everything. My husband tried to be nice and bought me some sugar free hershey's chocolate, but I was actually scared of eating it. One I didn't want to get sick, (sugar alcohols) and two I didn't want to like them and start having them around all the time. So I bought them into work and am pushing them on my co-workers. Good news - I have finally lost 100 lbs. (well a little over 102.6) almost 3 lbs. this weekend. I'm almost in the century club and it's wonderful. Take care Pat

Hi Debra - Great question! A pal (who knows I had WLS) sent me a carrot-shaped box full of chocolates and jelly beans! I was stunned - particularly because she's never sent me anything for Easter before (weird, I know...). It really threw me into a spin for a second because it was just delivered to my desk at work...unexpected chance to eat chocolate! I marched it right over to another department, opened it up and encouraged everyone to have at it. Shockingly, I wasn't tempted one bit. I did have fleeting thoughts of Cadbury Cream Eggs, but that was it... Happy spring! Mary Mc

Hello Everyone, Sorry its been a while! Well I must say Im so impressed by everyone saying NO to chocolate and candies. I must admit, I did not say no to anything. I ate whatever I wanted, and I dont feel as bad as I thought I would. This morning I rode my bike into work, almost 11 miles round trip, so hopefully I will work it all off by the end of the week. Take Care..... Kimberly
