New WLS Support Group in Fishkill!

I'm very excited to say that we will finally have a support group in Fishkill! Lisa (http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/members/profile.php?N=M1125346733) and I had been kicking around the idea about starting one, and All-Sport in Fishkill approached her about facilitating one there, so it's going to be EVERY Sunday night from 6pm to 7:30pm and it starts on May 21st! It's for both pre-ops and post-ops with the focus alternating each week on pre-op and post-op issues. I'm going to be her back-up so I'll be there every week and I hope to meet those of you who were looking for a group in Fishkill! Feel free to email me if you need more information! HUGS, Vi

Hey, that's great... I will be there.. Oh.. I have some goog news... I got approved for the br/bl but not tt... I am just so happy they are covering one. I plan to have it done July 11th... Hello Vi, Do you know if they will have a babysitter there at that time? Child care is an issue for me as hubby sleeps at that time for his work shift, but I hope to make at least one meeting. Kristine

What good news! I'll be having a VSG on June 7, and will be back two and a half weeks later; it would be great to attend a support group. I'm quite a bit north of you, but I'll make the drive happily. I'm sorry I missed the one last night (am checking my email at 4:30 a.m. on Monday....oops!). Thank you, Vi, for making this available!
