I have learned that everyone's journey is different.
We all have something to learn or to share, that may or may not apply to all.
that is ok!

Well stated Tri**** makes me think of my VERY favorite quote, from a fellow WLS patient.....
"WLS is a journey, not a destination (don't get comfortable) ... it's a road that we must travel daily to succeed"

Hope to see you again soon, if not
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I've learned that the "biggest loser" isn't necessarily the most successful and that everyone's weight loss NUMBERS are equally significant in this journey.  That everyone has had some underlying emotional issues that led them to obesity status (or a psyche eval would not be needed) and that doctor's need to emphasize and provide better post-op individual support for this (psychological) because the surgery is only the tool but not the ultimate solution.  The continued success is within each of us and the surgery is just the beginning.
