Question on Carnation Instant Breakfast

Hi everyone, I recently noticed on the box of Carnation instant breakfast that it only had 4 gms of protein. Am I mistaken but didn't they used to have 8?? Just wondering, Sue

I saw that too, prepared with milk, my box says that it's 15g per serving...the powder only is 7g on my box. Does that made sense?

Chantal.. I might be having a "senior moment" here but I thought that when I first had my surgery that a package contained 8 gms of protein and made with milk it was 12 gms. Now a package only has 4 gms of protein. I drink this every morning and would be disappointed if they reduced the amounts of protein. Sue

You have the numbers reversed. It IS 12 grams of protein: ---4 grams for no sugar added carnation instant breakfast. That's what it was when I had surgery in July. ---glass of milk equals 8 grams of protein... so yes, it is a total of 12 grams of protein for the drink. Dawn
