Don't give up on a dream of writing Elizabeth!! You have an incredible gift and I know a lot of people on here look forward to your posts, regardless of what it's about. I still say you should write a book of your life, before surgery, during the process, and after surgery...... I would buy it without hesitation!!!! I expect it autographed though

Interesting!  Can you get back into the art work you were doing?

From my thyroid disease my hands shake.  Not hugely it's alot less than it use to be, but it's enougth that I can't do the detail I use to be able to do.

Currently I work for the Federal Government as a Fraud Investigations Officer.
I'm retiring end of December this year and then re-training as an Animal Groomer-my dream job!

Awesome too bad you didn't live near me I am looking for a good groomer for my yorkie.  I took him in to get groomed and asked for the puppy cut {not too long not too short it's adoreable} I got my Dog back shaved oh he looked horrible. 
Your job you have now sounds exciting woohooo.

Current job: home childcare provider

Dream job: no job, just a hubby with an amazing salary so I can be a stay at home mom and do volunteer work

Future job I'm hoping for: Medical Office Administration (just started school) for a Bariatric surgeon

Excellent future job.  You'd be awesome and what a testament to the success of the surgery.  WTG great idea!!!

Thanks Elizabeth!! I believe that the more people in that office who have been in the patient's shoes, the better! Who better to understand what you're going through, what your life has been like, and to show them thier possible future, than a person who has been through the surgery?

So many of you are in the "helping people" field- I wonder if having that type of loving and giving heart predisposes a person to weight gain? Stress anyone?

I have my dream job - I run my own medium sized companies so I can be "master of my domain". I love coming in to the office everyday and appreciate how lucky I am
