OT: A lady called me fat today

Gathering, wife of friend.   I honestly feel like a freak right now for the first time in 4 years.

Some people are stupid and mean. . . . don't give them power over you!  She must be blind too.  It's obvious that you're cute as a button; as well as, slim and healthy.

You know Karen, i have never met you but I have been reading OH since I began my journey.  I have to tell you that I get such inspiration from you.  You are always a part of giving good advice to the up and comings and to imagine someone could loose 160 pounds just seems undoable to me but here you are.  You have made me feel like this is a possiblity and that I have made a wise choice.  You make us look forward, you should now try to do the same.  It makes me so angry that someone would treat you that way, actually would treat anyone that way.  I hope tomorrow will be a better day.

Joann... you couldn't have said it better!  All us newbes love you Karen.  I look at your pic, your beautiful hair, incredible smile and I want to be just like you.  You are absolutely beautiful both inside and outside.  I've shown your posts and pics to my husband and he agrees.  Don't let some blind ***** (because she certainly has to be) ruin one second of your life!

Karen...I don't personally know you (unfortunatly) but from what I've read on here that you've posted, you seem like a wonderful friend with a great sense of humour who truly cares about others. Whoever this person was who tried to belittle you is obviously jealous and needs to make others feel bad about themselves in order to make herself feel better. Hold your head high because you are better than that and deserve better. We all know the truth and are here to support you. Sorry you had to go through that....
