OT: A lady called me fat today

Wow, even after all these years we still have the head stuff!!! I mean, logically you are skinny,beautiful and happy yet one stupid comment  from an ignorant person can bring us crashing down to where we were before. Does this mean , as much as we try we will always be fat inside our heads?
   The boyfriend though is a whole other issue.  You need to sit down and talk with him about getting your back when you are down.  I am sorry that you had to experience this emotion and this statement from an idiot.   Sending you a big hug.

It's my own fault.  He knows I was big, he doesn't know about the WLS over 4 years ago.  In my heart, he should have left with me.  I almost hate him for not doing so. Thank you. xo

Karen i have to chime in on this one.

I often wondered what i would say if this ever happened to me again, of course you can't think of anything until later and by then it's too late. I always thought i would say, "I maybe be fat but you are an ignorant ahole and i may lose weight but you'll always be an ahole". course that only works if you're still fat and in this case you aren't so we'll have to come up with a new line.

I would have liked to have pulled that biotchs hair out. Creep.

Anyway, when i was about 20 and 180lbs maybe, i was at this wedding, this little boy was running around and  I asked him if he wanted to dance, he said. "NO, YOU'RE TOO FAT". Was I embarassed. I told him he was a rude little boy and he just walked away. Little Sh!!!t.

So i don't have a line for you, and i still think about what that little boy said, but Geesh Karen, you'd done fantastic.

I would have a talk with that BF of yours though maybe you should tell him why you were so upset, i think he's be more sensitive if it should happen again. And maybe next time he sees that queen B on heels, he'll tell she's a scank.....

She obviously don't have any class, and you are far above that.

 

Agreed and I would give the same advice to anyone else.  The thing is.... I'm not fat and I've worked so f'ing hard for the last 4 years not to be. Hating the BF at the moment.  I'm sure it'll somehow be my fault by the time he gets home.

Oh Karen, that is horrible.  First of all, no "lady" would ever insult someone like that for personal gain.  You look lovely and seriously, only hurtful, angry self hating people treat others like that so that they can feel better about themselves.  I hope it backfired and she feels like a pile of crap.

As far as bf, ya, he would have to do alot to get out of that doghouse...that is if he ever got to get out of it.

I can't explain, though I've been trying to do so to my son.  I think he gets it now.  When you are big for your whole life and work so damned ******g hard to get to a regular weight... well it just hurts.  I feel like such a freak, honestly.

Aw Darlin', what a dumb ***** she is!!  You're gorgeous and a wee little thing and we love you!!  Don't give this twit any more real estate in your brain space ~ she ain't worth it.  Very hurtful about BF ~ a blast of **** is definitely in order.

Honestly, there is not one thing fat about you! But you are definately Phat and more than all that! 

This lady is obviously  an asshole. Please, please do not let her control your mind. Yes of course we still will always feel like the person we were for so long. I dislike this person soooo much for making you feel this way. This person is unhappy with themselves. Why dont you tell me where she is and I will show her how unhappy she is.... or going to be. The only thing that was fat was obviously her mouth!!
