Thanks Linda! I guess it would be easier if they would just take them out when they do the surgery, wouldn't it! I'm glad your pain is gone :)

True, true.  My gall bladder surgeon asked why the heck the wls surgeon didn't just take it out when I had my VSG in 2008.  Would have made complete sense to me, especially when rapid weight loss will cause the problem.  Maybe OHIP should consider including it on their approval...two bangs for the buck...and it would save a heck of a lot of money in the end.  I made a lot of visits to doctors since the gall bladder started acting up in Janaury...not to mention the hospital emergency visit that had me staying in three days.  How much did all that cost OHIP???  Just saying...:)

Take care...Linda

Sounds like it to me.  I seriously thought I was having a heart attack the first time it happened to me. Don't wait for the pain to come back, get an appointment with the Dr to get the ball rolling for an ultrasound.

Thanks Karen, that is exactly how I feel when it happens.  I actually said to my hubby that I was either having a heart attack or a galbladder attack.

I have an appointment with my GP tomorrow afternoon.
