Your thoughts so often reflect my own that it is always amazing/inspiring to read your posts.  Congrats on your successes and on working on the body image issues that can be so haunting.  I know I sometimes beat myself up more now than I did when I was almost 300 pounds.

You're right Lori. Sometimes I think some of it, for me, was my feeling of invisibility when I was big. I often felt like no one was really looking anyway.

Now I notice that men look when I get out of my car. And it makes me self-conscious, not proud. It takes a minute for my brain to compute that they probably aren't looking in disgust.

Hi Erica congratulaions on your 2 year surgery anaversary.you are  a true insperation.you look fantastic.i still have body image issues, i struggle with body image issues every day.i am wroking on it too.all the best to you for a contiuin successful weight loss jorueny.take care of yourself.i am glad to that i got this surgery too because if i didnot i still would be that 337lb fat girl.all the best to you.i hope you enjoy your summer .have fun and enjoy your time with your family and friends.
