6 Months Out

Hi all.  It's been a while since I logged in.  I read from time to time to see whats going on with everyone but usually from my cell phone which for some reason won't allow me to post.

So I had my 6 month appt. yesterday with Dr. Reed.
I am doing very well so far.  Down a total of 108 lbs.  Which I guess puts me in the Century Club.

I am feeling pretty good. 
My only issues are low B12 and Iron, which I am working on. 
My hair was falling out quite a bit for a couple months but has slowed tremendously over the past month.  Not really all that noticable since I had lots of hair to begin with.

I am feeling much more confident in myself.  Getting lots of compliments (sometimes hard to take gracefully, I find myself stumbling with my words.)

I have gone from a size 26 pant to a 20.  And can even wear tops from Walmart now. 
Oh and I even went out and bought myslef some makeup last week.  Which I have worn everyday since.  This really upset my 4 year old whom has never seen his Mommy in makeup.
The first day he told me it was disgusting and that makeup only goes on your lips.  He couldn't stop staring.  For the next 2 days he told me I was pretty though.lol.

So 13 more lbs to go till Onederlad.

Holy Cow, 108 lbs in 6 months.  That is marvelous.  All the best in your journey.

I should clarify that I am down 108lbs since my first weigh @ Guelph, which was May 2010.  I lost about 25 lbs prior to surgery so I would say I am closer to have lost about 80 in the last 6 months.

OMG we were talking at the Guelph Clinic and I didn't even know it was you!

Congratulations and keep wearing the makeup and anything else that will boost your confidence, cause you deserve it. You have worked hard to get to this point in time.

That's awesome, Kim. Remember that your son might be finding it difficult to deal with all these changes in his mommy. My friend's son told her that he didnt like the new mommy because she wasnt as cuddly.
