Resting up at HRRH
It will get better, I promise! Go very slow, and when they tell you it is okay, begin taking GasX strips which will help with the gas pain which can be quite intense for a while after surgery. Walking is good, when you are able, and will help with the gas pain but do not push yourself too hard. Stay safe and get plenty of rest and fluid. Best of luck on the rest of your journey. Wishing you a speedy recovery. (:

Katie: Glad to see you are getting up and around. Remember, regarding the gas "this too shall pass" no pun intented (well, maybe I did enjoy the pun-ability of it, to be truthful).
I hope the rest of your day goes well. Take care!
