oh, that really sucks, another 3 trips...:(  Weird that you are meeting Starr twice...I met him on July 6th, and liked him alot, great bedside manners.

Don't forget to ask for telehealth, once I have the surgery, I never have to return to TO which is saving me about 12 trips over the years!

I had my surgery at HRRH.  My appointment at PATT clinic took about 3 hours:  blood work, chest X-Ray, anasthesiologist, height, weight, BP.  Sadly, I had lots of waiting in between seeing each person so all of that should have taken half that time.

 Hi Nathalie,

My PATTs appointment went really quickly actually. I had a 9 am appointment and had arrived at the clinic at 8:30. All the questions the receptionist asks takes about 20 minutes. Then I my blood work done, height and weight and EKG all at the same time. After I met with the nurse and then the anathesiologist. The longest appointment was the nurse, as she had this full questionnaire set she had to ask. Finally I went for a chest x-ray. I only ever waited 5 to 10 minutes between appointments and was out of the hospital before lunch.

Hope that helps, it sounds like everyone has different experiences....

I have my PATTS on August 10th, so thanks to everyone for the information.

I do hope you ladies from Northern Ontario are taking advantage of the Northern Health Travel Grant.  It should help cover your travelling expenses.
