OT- my mom :(
Hi, I'm so very sorry to hear your news. Earlier this year my son was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and I'l never forget those feelings. I am very happy to say that my son is now cancer free, after chemo and surgeries. I was amazed at the level of care that is available and of course I did a lot of reading, only the positive stuff, and read about so many success stories. First thing though is for you to take care of yourself in order to be there for your mom. Don't slip into old bad habits, do as much as you can to be healthy to be there for her. I would even suggest seeing your family doctor and if you need a little something to help you sleep, do it.
I beleive this forum is help us get through life, since we can't avoid all of the other stuff when we have our weight to deal with.
Anytime you want to talk, I'm here. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers
