So glad my daughter found this site.
My daughter Robin found this site awhile back. She told me about it and said I should sign up. Sure I said. So I signed up and never went back. Now here I am a few months later reading ...reading and more reading. The reason being, the dream of losing weight, is going to be a reality! Since I have gotten the call to have a tela-health call with the surgen Dr. Hong I have been wanting to know so much. This site seems to have all questions covered, and if no answer is there, someone will find out for you or guide you on how to get the right information. So a big THANK YOU maxlake Joyce
Welcome Joyce. I too am pre-op, so I am on here reading as much as possible. It is good to hear both the good and bad so we are going into this with a wealth of knowledge. The vets on here are absolutely priceless. I too would like to thank everyone on here, both new and old ... the more information, the better.

Hi Joyce - nice to meet you!
I agree with you 100% - this site is a goldmine of information & the folks here are wonderful at sharing information. If you're like I was in the early days, your head is probably spinning, trying to take in all this information! Like you, I haven't had my surgery yet, but I have put together a reference binder filled with great tips that I've learned from everyone here. It's become my "go to" source for all things relating to bariatric surgery, both before & after. The one good thing about the months spent waiting is that it gives you lots of time to do your research and ask lots of questions so that you can make informed choices. I also belong to a local group who meets once a month to offer support & discussion in a friendly, fun environment. The wait can be long and frustrating but the reward at the end is so worth it! Best of luck to you as you continue on your journey!

Hey Joyce,
Welcome to the boards, you will definatley find the info you require to help with your process.
Of course the experts at the clinics info comes before ours but there are some really knowledgable people on this site and of course we are all very supportive of each other.
I'm really happy you made the dream a reality.
Best of luck
