Anyone else have this issue?
Sorry to hear that. It must be scary.
This is something that all of us are susceptible to if we've had lap surgery. I have not had this issue personally but do have a friend who had this happen to her. She had surgery to fix the problem which may be in your foreseeablle future. On the occasion the body fixes itself but if you are vomitting bile this is something they need to address sooner than later. Pleae keep us updated.
Good luck

This is EXACTLY what the nurse in Guelph told me to watch for.
They had an incident awhile back with a woman who had this, didn't do what she was told by the surgeon or hosptials and she passed away. it's not something to fool with.
They were telling everyone to be careful, said the pain comes and goes, just like you described. She said when you lose alot of weight that leaves alot of space inside and things move around a bit and the bowels can get twisted.
I don't mean to alarm you but they were being a bit vague about it and i finally asked why and she told me what happened.
Be your own advocate and get them to take care of it asap.Don't take no for an answer.
Keep us posted.

Hi Donna:
I've been dealing with an issue that sounds very much the same from the symptoms you've described. So far they haven't found the exact cause but suspect possible gall bladder problems. I've had the ultra sound. The gastro specialist I saw said he can't see into the commom bile duct or something so he is sending me for an MRI. Not sure when that will happen as MRI's seem to take ages to get in. I am seeing Dr. Sohi, my bariatric surgeon on Tuesday so I'll see what he thinks.
After the first 4 or 5 "attacks" of this which happened within a 2 week period, it seems to happen a lot less frequently now and a lot less intense. Not sure what that means but will continue to have it investigated. I'll let you know if they find anything definitive.
