Boy did this week ever go by fast.
Belly pain getting better everyday. Still quite sore on the left side. Stll have a lump on the left just above one of the ports that causes me the most discomfort. Same spot from right after surgery. The doc said it was due to sutures on the fascia (covering over the muscles).
At least I dont get stuck in bed anymore.
Drinking is no problem, more a challenge to eat oatmeal, yogurt etc...
One more week of full fluids.Down 10lbs since surgery. Dont see it yet.

Thanks everyone for all your support.

Leslie

Wow that week did go fast Leslie. So glad you are doing so well and holy 10 lbs already? Because I hear people gain weight during the surgery because of the air and fluids. You are doing great. Wishing you continued success.
Thanks for the update.

Oh, I love to hear about these losses - good job and more to come!

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Good job, Leslie!! Glad to hear you're doing well. Just go slowly, you'll do fine with the full fluids. Other people will notice that first 10 or 20 pounds before you do. "omg i see it in your face" and you're still like "What? I dont see it". Take pictures, you'll be able to compare and see the difference.

Hi Leslie - I'm still in the "Stuck in bed phase"......but it's good to know it's only going to be for a few more nights.  Looking forward to when I can return to sleeping on my side/stomach.

Congrat's on being down 10 - keep up the GREAT work

I have reached my goal weight ..... and LOVE my RNY !!!!!!!!!
