Does TWH always do scopes?
A scope is a Gastroscopy which is a test that they run a tube with at light and scope down your throat.
They really freeze you well which doesnt hurt and they give you a light sedative. It is done rather fast so over before you know it

Good morning Brenda, @ HRRH they only order if you need them and the medical internsit decides based on your history/assessment... my friend is going to Hamilton and she has had to have every single test known to man before she evens sees the surgeon... when she had the gastroscopy & colonoscopy she was put out and woke when both procedures were done... at first I felt short changed but then realized she and I were both very different in our health conditions... I believe if there is any question the medical intern will order it as a precautionary measure.
Sounds like a lot of us shortly into the new year will be venturing into a new journey phase of life... yahooooo for us!
