Quantum Italian Ice Cream.....High Protein, Low Fat, No Sugar
I thought I would share this will all my OH friends. I have a friend of the family who is owner of Hollywood Gelato on Bayview and Eglington in Toronto. He has created a new gelato that has 20 grams of protein (whey protein isolate), 1.5 grams of fat, 9 grams of fibre, no added sugar (sweetened with spelnda), 190 calories per serving and taste absolutely delicious (I tried it)...like real italian gelato. It comes in 3 flavours; vanilla bean, chocolate and cappucino). The best part is that it will be available in most major grocery stores by January.
It comes in 150 ml servings, however, is a little expensive ($3.99 per 150 ml tub). But, for those of us who are tired of protein shakes and would like to treat themselves, this is a great alternative. You can almost compare it to a price of a proten bar which can be about $3.00.
Anyway, keep your eyes out and try it. You won't be disappointed.

Wow! That looks great. The price is similar to a protein bar and you actually get the same amount of protein for ten fewer calories and lower fat levels than most protein bars. I also like the fact that it's sweetened with erythritol... I've been using that a lot lately as it's another sweetener we can use that won't cause gastrointestinal issues and really like it. Thanks for the heads up!
