What is your favourite Christmas song?
I love Mariah Carey's Christmas song: All I want for Christmas and It's Beginning to Look a Lot from Christmas (the version played in Home Alone 2)
What is your favourite Christmas movie?
I have too many to count. I like the old cartoons, frosty, rudolph, etc... and really enjoy the Home Alone movies (well the first two), as well as Christmas Vacation.
How is your shopping coming along?
Dooooooonnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeee done done done dooooooonnnnneee. LOL Feels so good to say that, now I just have wrapping to do....
Will you be spending more or less this year?
I've stuck to budget this year.
What will you do to replace any special seasonal treats with?
I plan on making sugar free maple fudge, sugar free white chocolate, sugar free white hot chocolate mix, and a sugar free and gluten free, low carb version of a Bariatric foodie Banana Cream pie recipe for Christmas dessert. I've already made a batch of sugar free hot chocolate, but need to make more before christmas.

spending- same as last year
Special treats- pre surgical, so I will have some but sweet stuff turns my stomach these days due to cutting back and changing my old lifestyle!

Last year at this time we were in Britain, and every store, every mall was playing Slade's Merry Christmas Everybody from 1974, so it has a special place in my heart. We also have to play a Vietnamese tape that my MIL found in her front garden one spring many years ago. It's become a family favourite (and it's been replaced with the CD!)
What is your favourite Christmas movie? Gotta be either The Ref or Fitzwilly. Love the crime theme, I guess... Oh, and I haven't seen it in years, but there was a movie in the '70s called The Man in the Santa Claus Suit. I really want to see it again!

There are some treats we'll continue to make as is for special members of our family (Mom, MIL) *****quest them, but other than the turkey, I don't expect to make anything I can't eat myself (in tiny quantities) so I'm trying to compile a few SF recipes. We have several diabetic and/or dieting relatives, so it would be in everyone's best interest to have some safe choices.
