hi there, I am new to this site and I just read your post.. So you had your surgery 3 months ago and have lost 66lbs? Wow good for you !!!  I had my surgery Nov 4 2011 and have lost about 40 lbs since surgery,( and about 15lbs prior on that lovely liquid diet). I was wondering what you eat a day and do you find the not drinking with eating a problem . I find it  a kind of a pain in the butt ! How much exercise do you do ? Have you drank any alcohol since surgery? Do you average a certain amt of weight loss a week? I would appreciate any info you can give me. thanks Jen

thanks Jen!

What do I eat in a day?
A typical day looks like this:
B -greek yogurt with 1/4c all bran buds
L - 2 slices of lean deli meat, 1oz old cheese, 3 kalamata olives and a clementine
S- mini brie (1oz) and 1/3 c grapes
D- 2.5 oz lean meat and 1/2c veggies

I usually go to the gym after supper and will have a protein shake when I get home made with 250ml of fat free milk instead of water.

Yes, not drinking during or close to meals is VERY hard...I would even say it might be the hardest thing.

Exercise: Yes I go to the gym 4-5 times a week. I try to do weights 3 times (plus cardio) and then just cardio the other times. I do a 10 minute warm up, 20 minutes of strength training with weights, then 30 minutes of interval running on the treadmill for cardio....or 30 minutes of eliptical then 30 minutes of running intervals on the treadmill.

I dont think I average a certain amount per week, but I do notice that unless I get in my full 2L of water in every day...my weight moves very slowly. When I get my water in, I do better.

and lastly, no, I havent tried alcohol since surgery. I was sorely tempted on Saturday night though!!!  I was never a big drinker to begin with so its not really something I will miss anyways.
