3 month pic
So its been nearly 3 months (it'll be 12 weeks on Thursday)
I went out with the girls on Saturday night and my Honey took a picture before I left, so I figured I'd share as my 3 month before and after.
All I can say is that I feel fantastic!! The scale isn't feeling quite as fantastic but I don't really care about that when I can skate, fit into size 16 jeans and have them sliding off my butt and run on the treadmill at the gym in a sz LARGE yoga pant!!!
I still have a hard time believing I will continue to lose weight; everyday I feel like, ok this must be as much as I am gonna lose, right?? ..... Its hard to get past years of failed attempts so I am just trying to take it one day at a time.
Me from my highest at 291lbs to me now at 225 lbs

You look hot!!!! and more importantly, you look happy!!!! You and I, my friend, are going dancing one Friday evening!
Your past failed attempts are a part of your success today. They help you now, not hinder. If you had not made all those attempts and failed, you would not have gotten to the place that you were at that allowed you to seize the opportunity of WLS with the level of commitment and respect that such a major surgery requires. You are not the same person now that you were when you tried to lose weight all those times before. You are capable of surviving and thriving through tremendous difficultiies. You have shown that over the last three months. Did you know that about yourself when you were making those failed attempts? You are brave enough to risk losing your life in an instant instead of opting for the prolonged process of dying by simply ceding a bit more of your abilities and self-esteem with every extra pound. Did you know that you were that brave when your younger self was starting yet another diet?
You will continue to lose for a good while longer. The challenge is in trying to make sure you gain during that same time...gain acceptance of yourself and confidence.
