Here is mine:

I'm three and a half years out, at goal. Recently we had a few very warm days and I decided to take my 6y.o. daughter for a running exercise after school. I changed at work and came to pick up the kid wearing t-shirt and leggings. Her teacher commented -"I didn't recognize you so casual. Usually you look so fancy...". That was weird and I didn't realize when I became the Fancy Nancy, but it's true. Having the post-op body allowed me to unleash the inner fashionista. It's especially funny, since during my "fat times", when 6x t-shirts and sweatpants were the only clothes that fit, I didn't even think in terms of trend and fashion... It has changed so much that people don't recognize me in t-shirt and sw-pants anymore.

Not funny but my absolute best....

Being able to walk 18 holes on a hilly course pulling my cart/clubs behind me....and living to tell the tale!!!

I NEVER thought I would do this again in my life.....thank you RNY

Here is mine:

My 18 year old son noticed how much weight I had lost (this is amazing as
teenage boys notice nothing but their stomachs) he commented on saying
"wow you really have lost tons of weight" I was happy for about 30 seconds
because he followed that comment up with "you look just like grandma".

Arrg...well you take the good and the bad.
Thanks

awesome NVS's ladies!

here is another one.

Yesterday I come to garage at work and distinctly remember parking my car at the second level. But it's not there. I circle around and then try to press the remote. A distant beeping sound comes from the level below. I'm asking myself, how could I park at first level and forget about it? when I realize ... I'm at the third level. I went UP an extra stair case (18 stairs) and didn't notice.

Fun topic!

Funniest for me - this happened about 4 years ago -

Teenaged Son - Ummmm.... mom, exactly how much more weight are you gonna lose?
Me - Hmmm... well, I'd like to lose another 20 pounds or so.
Son - What the....? Mom, you've lost enough weight.
Me - Well thanks dear, but I can still stand to lose a few.
Son - Listen, I want you looking like a MOM, not a MILF!!!

showing my un=hipness, but had to google that one (MILF)

l'm only 5 weeks out and didn't expect anyone (especially my kids) to notice my 35lb loss.  However, my 8 year old daughter said to me a couple of days ago, "Mommy, you really have lost weight....but you're still short."

Really, did she think I would lose weight AND grow taller....I must have explained something wrong :)
