As I was getting dressed this morning, I realized an NSV that I never really thought of before....

I can buckle my (FABULOUS) mary janes with TWO HANDS and still be able to breathe!! I can just bend right over and do them up without giving myself a brain aneurism. I always thought my arms were just too short!!
AMAZING!!

Anything else people can do today that they couldn't pre-surgery??

I've had lots of NSVs like that, my latest is that I'm starting to learn Irish Dancing.  They make it look so easy, but what a cardio work out.  Wouldn't have survived 1 minute of the 10 minute jump rope warm up pre surgery.  I can slowly do the 10 (with lots of mistakes).  Then dance for have hour or so, when ever my gym time is up.

Enjoy the NSVs!

Woo hoo!!!  That's awesome.  One thing I can do is that quad stretch where you stand on one foot, bend the opposite knee with your foot behind you & grab that foot with your hand.  I can totally do it with ease & hold on for a good, long stretch!!

yay you!
I can get up from seated position on floor with toddler in my arms!!!

Most of my sports bras for working out are not providing proper support anymore... girls don't fill them up ... that's bitter sweet but a nsv nonetheless!

Congrats! I love doing up my laces to my runners as well.
I can now squat and clean up a mess on the floor. The first time I did it I couldn't figure out what was digging into my butt...it was my heels!
Oh and I love the hair Sirene
