craving

I am not sleeping well due to pain issues. So all day long I am tired. Why is it that is when I crave food!. I am not hungrry but my brain keeps wanting something to keep going. I guess it's time to go for a walk and maybe a tea.
This surgery has helped wth so many things but dumb cravings can be annoying.

they are annoying, arent they? i tend to get cravings when things get really overwhelmingly busy at work, or when i'm annoyed.

I know this is one of the reasons I became overweight in the first place. So I just went for a walk to Tim Horton, land of the junk fod and just got a tea. Yeah for will power!

Some say cravings are a sign of a vitamin deficiency, and if you are tired all the time... I'd look at Iron & Thyroid.

Thanks for your reply. My vits are okay. I have chronic pain which some nights wakes me up. this too will pass. Just hard when I go for a week or so with disruptive sleep.

Thanks a good article. I think you have less seratonin with lack of sleep as well. I know I feel better when I sleep better. Had a better nights sleep last night and am back on track.

Sleep does affect it... Actually serotonin is consumed while you sleep... But if your levels are low it can throw things out of whack as much as sleeping to much/too little can throw those out of whack.

Our delicate balance we live in eh?
