Protein Shakes..........
nothing flavoured ever really tasted (good) to me, so I bought an LOw Carb Whey protein (unflavoured) and for the past 3.5 years I still make it the same way, either with 2 tablespoons of orange juice a small banana and 3 ice cubes...OR when I want a change I use SF syrups...my latest love is raspberry
It may not be bearable...but it's something you just don't think about and get it done. I don't drink shakes every day...because at over 3 years post-op I can pretty much manage getting my protein in with daily meal consumption..however if my family is having something like CHinese food or KFC I will then have a shake and maybe some peanut butter or rye crackers

prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.

hey chickie, i bought the torani sugar free syrups on line , they were delivered within 2 days they come in alot of flavours and i added them to my opti. french vanilla and irish cream they make the drinks yummy.. as for protein you can try alot of them before you find one you like. gnc has some brand name kaizen i think and they are good.. :)
