Protein Powders from the USA

For bariatric patients, please keep in mind...when you settle on a protein shake/bar etc make SURE that it's available in Canada even if you do NOT buy from a Canadian supplier/wholesaler.

If it hasn't been approved in Canada, there is a possibility that there is a reason for that, being that (Health Canada OR Office of Nutrition Policy and Promotion or one of the other necessary agencies that control what comes into Canada, MAY not have approved the product for the consumption of Canadians.

please ALWAYS do your research...if you have purchased a product in the USA that is not available in Canada.

I am not 100% sure if Protein Supplements are monitored or assessed by any of the Canadian agencies..but please make sure you are doing some basic research.
