CRAZY Trans-Canada Challenge: Time to post your weekly mileage
Did it for the first time this summer...LOVED IT!!
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
I love kayaking. I held off on getting one until I knew I could safely fit. I just started it this summer but it's so relaxing and challenging. You can test paddle them at Clearwater design in the summer in Picton. They make them there and mine was a second so price reduction. (it had been sent to North Bay custom made with a rudder and the purchaser changed their mind, so it had to go for sale as a second)
Awww cute!!
Sorry to hear about the bursitis!! Ouch!! How long do you have to break for?

Ya, it sucks big time. So sore! I'm meeting with Occupational health on Thursday, hoping to get back to work on Wednesday. I'm lucky I had a few days off and my next shift is a 12 hour night on Wednesday. I have to call work tomorrow and touch base.
I chose the kayak over the canoe because I can lift it and put it on my vehicle myself and because you can sit comfortably in the kayak, no kneeling. I have terrible balance but manage it just fine.
Thanks. Not sure what is wrong with him. Weak. He eats ground mussels, gatorade and duck mash. Hoping to return him to the wild on the weekend. I can't find any shot on him, but duck feathers are tricky and cover things up so well.
