Vitamins: new issue after 1 yr out??
The fisrt bariatric formulated vitamin I tool was Opti Source, it left my throat feeling as though I had a scouring pad in it...after that I switched to Bariatric Advantage multi chewables and they taste great and have never had a problem.
I take my iron supplement and I have anemia so I take a lot..I always take it with food
My surgeon only gave me one piece of advice..he said "
if you are going to do one positive thing after surgery is buy a Bariatric formulated multi-vitamin"
...he would be proud I am almost 4 years post-op and still take the same vitamin
prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.
