Binge Eating - Now officially in the "bible" of disorders

So binge eating has finally been added to the DSM -5 much to some critics dismay. This should be interesting to follow, I don't know how many of you were/are binge eaters but as a fat person we deny many things

Beware of what you read in DSMV, a whole lot of well respected psychiatric professionals are writing critiques.......the APA have made some really poor decisions on this one!!!

DSM 5 is becoming more controversial every day... First they want to remove Aspergers as an actual diagnosis and make it Autism 1-5 or something along those lines. Now this.

I am not sure how I feel about either. I am not a binge eater but I do "Aspergers" on a daily basis around here.

We'll see how things really turn out in the final publications, etc.
