I could cry...

Woke up this morning to busses cancelled and freezing rain. It's my first nurses appointment this afternoon with fasting blood work this morning. I get ready in the car and start my journey to find the sanding truck from our local road crews across the road and in the 'rhubarb' ! Roads are slippery mrs you should turn around home too! Just my freakin' luck. Hope the ladies at the clinic appreciate my try and will be kind to me and give me a new appointment. Will this be counted against me? Thanks for the ear! Lol

How disappointing for you....I am sure the clinic will undestand...likely some of their employees will be unable to attend work today if the weather is dangerous....keep your chin up

 

 

The weather should be better by this afternoon for you to go to the appointment...just explain why you couldn't get the bloodwork.

 

Give them a call as soon as they open. Explain that you did start out and what happen. they will understand and give you a new appointment.   Sorry for your disappointment . In the mean time make your self a nice cup of tea or something hot and be thankful that you are inside nice and warm. Try and have a good day. Keep the chin up

yes give them a phone call and explain - first thing this morning. They will understand.

It won't be counted against you...if it is not safe enough to get there then you shouldn't go... They will understand.  Promise.

Definitely call and keep calling as I'm sure you're not the only one having issues.

I would suggest in the future getting the blood work done the day before just in case something like this happens.

 

I wish I could. But I'm two hours away, and they've asked that it be done at the civic. Just talked to the office and I'm not the only one 'stuck' at home. They've rescheduled me for Jan 14th.  Have a great day everyone

But they will undoubtedly understand completely the reason you could not attend.

Not worth risking your life in travel.   We live in Ontario it is to be expected.
