Crazy question time ...is vinagar a problem post op?

Creeping closer to op and wondering if vinagar is a no no post op?

It's my all time fav condiment the English in me I guess

I imagine that vinegar would be an issue if you are sprinkling it on fries and eating them!!

Stole my answer!! mmmmm fries and vinegar.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Aahh I hope not !!  I love beets in balsamic vinegar, salmon pan seared in it, cucumbers in the fridge in it. 

 

Seriously it's not been an issue for me (I love it too !)

Sadly I would miss the vinegar more then i would miss the fries, 

 

I grew up putting vinegar on everything, from chicken, beef, to salads ,  It's the go to condiment in my part of NL, 

 

I've already made my peace with fish and chips :) Ha it will be missed but my health comes before my taste buds!

It shouldn't be, though I did notice a distinct change in my tastes after surgery.
