one year later
Yesterday was my anniversary. I started this journey with diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I was unable to find medication for the pain I was in so did not exercise enough. I tried but was limited. I would have to sych myself up to go for a walk. My husband and i biked but I had trouble keeping up.
Today I am off medication. I still have arthritis but my joints do not hurt as bad. My husband and I regularly went for 15 - 20 km bike rides last summer. We also did the 30km Ride for MS. We are going to try zip line on a vacation in a few weeks. I have more energy and feel so much better. I am no longer letting life pass me by. I hope to always fight to stay at this weight or perhaps a little thinner and not let pounds creep in. There is not much I can't eat just things I choose not to eat.
Look at you... *whistle* hot stuff... :) You look great and you have done wonderful, you should be so so proud.
