Karen is out of surgery

Just got a text from Bryan.  Karen's surgery went well.

Good to hear.  Wishing all the best for a smooth and speedy recovery.

She had an open hysterectomy and a panniculectomy done together.

I thought doctors refused to do plastic at the same time as a regular surgery...believe me, I've asked...I have to have a hysterectomy done myself...wow...good for her...if you have to go under, it might as well be for something more exciting than having your uterus removed!!!!! 

Many of us get hernia repairs done at the same time as plastics. I had a general surgeon and a PS working on me when I had my TT.  Karen's situation is a little different.  She went in for hysterectomy last August and they had to send her home due to the rash on her panni.  It was her ob/gyn that referred her to a PS to have both done together.

I had my hysterectomy done all by itself and honestly it was the best surgery I ever had.  Having that useless thing removed and no more pain from it was worth going under for.

yes if you're having problems its good to have it done...I have zero issue! zero pain and zero symptoms! I also have a growing fibroid sigh!!...so, have to get it done :(
