Thanks for the links, I have never heard of board shorts, well at least for women anyway.

I have a full piece but it has one shoulder which I think works well because it draws the eyes up a bit. I would just make sure your suit is made with a thicker less stretchy material versus thin swimsuit material (like what they make Speedos with) because that doesn't hold things in as well. Winners had a lot of swimsuits when I was there last week but I didn't actually go through them so I don't know what sizes they tend to carry. My thing is I wear a sun dress down to the water, take it off when I'm sitting or about to go into the water and then wear the dress when I'm actually walking around. I think obsessing about my thighs with shorts and what not is just going to give me bad tan lines.

I will certainly have a cover-up on, when I am walking around as well.

That is another thing I need to look for is a summer dress.

Costco has awesome suits up to size 16 or 18. They are $20 and very flattering. I have had lots of luck with their Speedo one-piece suits. They aren't all sporty.  The have lots that are more stylish. You can take a bunch home, try them on and bring back the ones you don't like (kinda weird that you can take them back I though, but...).

Definitely go to Bikini Bay. Most malls have one. I just got 2 there for my trip next week and there sizes go up to at least 16 or more. The suits hold in the tummy which is great for us who have lost weight. Plus they have lots of different fits so you can find the one the fits you the best. Don't wear Costco suits in a chlorinated pool. They disintegrate like crazy. Plus they have nice covers or sarongs to go with the suits
