Jeez, the old me is still there!

Decided I wanted to make a waffle on the waffle maker for breakfast, not the best choice but I wanted some. Fed the grand kids first, then myself. Now I sit thinking what a dummy I am. My eyes and head wanted that whole waffle and more, which resulted in that one bite too many that has left me with the foamies! No sympathy - I deserve it! I knew better.

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

its ok. You've learned from this. Accept it and move on, know better next time.

Excellent! A learning opportunity presents itself and a lesson is learned. Today, a great success!

D'oh!  I hate when I do stuff like that.  Not often, but every once in a while...

I like P_Floyd's answer - we can always just look positively on stuff like this when it happens, as a learning experience. :)  I am looking forward to trying waffles again someday.  It was never a major weakness for me, and a little always went a long way, so hopefully I can eat a little bit of it in very sparse moderation.  Someday. :)

I hate that. Ate something too greasy the other night and had the foamies. Last night ate something too dry, had the fooamies. Tonight I will be so careful so I guess for me lesson learned.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I did something dumb tonight too.  I went out for supper to our favourite Mexican restaurant, and I got the dish that I've had before post-op without any problems.

And while I don't think I ate too much, I think I ate it a bit too fast.  And I forgot that I shouldn't be drinking water with my meal!  I don't know how I forgot.  It was just there, so I sipped away without even thinking.  And I got home and felt sick and had a slight mini-dump over it.  Very nice.  I went to sleep immediately afterwards because I still felt yucky and needed the rest, and I've woken up now, in the middle of the night, several hours later.

Totally my fault, no sympathy expected or wanted, just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one.  And right after you posted this, too!  :)
