Oooh, quilting!  By hand or machine?  Either way, I wish I knew how to do that!

Both but I do my piecing by hand and mostly I have my quilts machine quilted on a long arm. However I do hand quilt one day a week at my church. It is so much fun, just a lovely group of women stitching and chatting.

I'm trying to get up the gumption to get off my lazy butt and go out somewhere. :)  But I really kind of needed a rest today.  I've been getting run-down this week, so I was looking forward to this weekend to recharge.

I've been reading a bunch of gardening sites this morning and dreaming about spring.  Which I do every year.  I have all these great plans for what I'm going to do and then never even do a tenth of what I'm thinking about doing.  Maybe this year will be different and I'll have more energy to do some work in the garden and yard.  I hope!  I'm also hoping that I can grow a few window sill herbs and such inside the house after the kitchen is done.  Could never do that before since our kitchen had practically no light coming in and was filled with junk and no counter space.

Going to a house party tonight being thrown by a friend that I haven't seen in quite a while.  I probably won't stay all that late.  My husband is even more run-down than I am, and he hasn't been able to rest at all this weekend.  We went out last night to see a friend's jazz band play, then a friend of his stayed over at our place last night so that they could get up at the crack of dawn to go to a radio flea market in St. Catharines.  He'll be tired when he gets home, so I don't know if he'll want to go to the party or not, since he's also planning to go into the office tomorrow to get some stuff done that he hasn't been able to get done during the week.  So I might just go alone to the party.

So...my food for the day isn't all that inspiring.  Oh well.

3 MONTHS POST-RNY

B - Premier Protein Shake

L - Pure Protein bar (why do I keep doing this to myself? I don't really like these things)

S - some green grapes and almonds

D - Leftover cornish hen from last night's dinner out, along with the kale and shallot trimmings

S - skim milk

I'm too lazy to total it up in MFP right now. :)  But I'm pretty sure I'll have at least the minimum of protein in.
