I hate SNOW!!

After a very long ride to the airport we found out they had canceled our flight. But they could book us to fly into Sarasota which is close. So we went through customs. Had an awful salad and waited for our flight. As we were about to board they canceled that flight as well. So back through customs we went. Then wait for the luggage. They told us we could re-book on line but their system would not recognise our flight info. So I waited an hour on hold to get a flight into New York tomorrow the wait 3 hours for a flight to Tampa. When she e-mailed me the itinerary it had a different flight number and when I checked on line it was actually canceled. So back to being on hold for another hour to find out the flight she verbally gave me was right. The one she sent by e-mail was wrong. I am now on hold trying to change my hotel reservation. I will then have to change my car reservation. I have spent $50.00 to go to the airport and $70 to get home. I am going to try to get my son to drive us tomorrow. Good thing is I just found out I will not be paying for my hotel for tonight.

So back to the airport tomorrow to try again. My husband is outside shoveling snow again so we can get out tomorrow

OMG!!  What an ordeal Pat....tomorrow, you should be successful.  What a ****ty way to start your vacation

Pat.. Sorry about all the cancellations.. I heard Pearson had cancelled over 65% of the outbound flights

Perhaps you might wanna call before or.. look it up online.. to see if the flight is a go tomorrow.

thanks. Thy were only letting a few planes take off due to de-icing. Air Canada couldn't get the planes de-iced for take off. So far this morning both of our flights are a go

Really sorry for you Pat.....I thought of you today and wondered....

I would not make it home if we were flying home tomorrow.....the morning flight is already cancelled.....hopefully Sunday is good

 

Try Flightview travel tools.com.......they give you great info on flights and what is taking off ......you can also follow flights in the air if you are waiting for someone

Thanks I will check out the site. We had checked before we left but a drive which should take about 40 minutes took 1.5 hours and by then it was cancelled.

I was just going to ask you what time you have to leave. I'm going to Mississauga tomorrow morning to pick up my son, and I have to get him at 11. So if you had to be there before 10, I could have easily taken you since I'm getting an autoshare car tomorrow...
