NSVs!!!

As of today I am 19 days out and feeling great.  I have lost 17lbs since surgery and had two awesome NSVs this morning!!!  For the first time in I don't know how long I was able to shave my legs AND breathe at the same time!!!!!  I was also able to put my wedding band back on and have it not cut off circulation for the first time in 3 years!  Woo Hoo!!!!

High 5's on shaving your legs and breathing! That is wicked!

The wedding ring is certainly a bonus also but the leg shaving... that just feels... awesome!

Thanks Shell!!!  Let me tell you, I was in the shower and have avoided shaving for as long as possible cause it's almost as bad as trying to paint your own toe nails and I figured I better get at it before I start looking like my hubby and I have to admit I had a few choice words to say (in amazement of course) and couldn't believe it.  I thought I was dreaming!!!  Next mission, paint my toes!!!

I was painting my toes while visiting a friend and waiting for her to get ready last week... I totally get this one also.

At my high weight in 2009... I wouldn't ave dreamed of it. Now I regard it as "normal" to be all twisty and bendy and do both. It feels awesome!

Don't shave my legs but when I could cut my toenails without getting a hernia I was very happy!  Congrats on your nsvs!  And your weight loss!  

LOL!!!  Thanks Ian.  I was all excited and ran out to tell my hubby and he didn't get it cause he's never had to try to shave his legs before.......  I'll have to remind him the next time he's clipping his toe nails and is turning purple
