I'm new too

I'm new here too. I've made it through all the testing and am awaiting my consult date the surgeon In Toronto. I'm trying to eat better in the meantime and tryung getting some exercise in. Wi**** was done already. The waiting is killing me . Maybe a May date for me. Let's keep our fingers crossed. I've been trying to get to the Kingston group but there's always something happening that second Tuesday of the month.

I am relatively new myself.  There are a lot of informed people on this Board and they are very kind and supportive.

I meet with my NP on Tuesday so I am not as far along as you!

The Kingston group is a great bunch of folks.  They made me feel truly welcome!

Welcome to our OH family. The wait is definitely long but any little changes that you can make pre-op will make your life easier post-op so keep up the good work.

Welcome to the forum Darthmummy!  I just joined in January and had my RNY last Monday.  I should have joined up sooner and I'd have had my questions all answered much sooner.  Everyone here is very friendly and ready to share their experiences and ideas with anyone who asks a question.  People have been very informative, kind, supportive, and helpful to me here.

Welcome! I had my Surgery May 2nd almost a year ago. It still made for a great summer. I was off work for 6 weeks and the weather was beautiful. I do all my follow ups in Kingston now except the yearly surgeon follow up in May.
